About me

WHAT I SEE IN DANCE

Dance is an art form that touches me deeply—more than just movement, it is a language that allows me to express what words often cannot contain. When I dance, I feel an immediate and raw connection to my physicality: the rhythm of my breath, the weight of my body, the space I inhabit. But beyond the physical, dance opens a door to something more subtle—a kind of poetry that lives in presence, in sensation, in the act of being fully alive. It is also a connecting point with others.

In movement, I experience moments of clarity, of vulnerability, of strength and surrender. It's a dialogue between my inner world and the outer environment, a way to navigate emotions, memory, and imagination through the body. Dance becomes both a mirror and a sanctuary, allowing me to explore and affirm my existence with honesty and intensity.

Ultimately, dancing grounds me in the now while connecting me to something timeless. It is in these fleeting yet profound moments that I feel the essence of being human: embodied, expressive, and alive.

WHAT I SEE IN CONTACT IMPROVISATION

What draws me most to this dance is its power to fully immerse me in the present moment, where only the fluid dialogue between body, space, and gravity remains. It is a continuous exploration of physicality—a constant play with the forces of nature, weight, momentum, and inertia. I am also deeply fascinated by the subtle yet profound investigation of touch: the intimate connection created by sharing weight, not just with others but also within oneself, feeling the body from the inside out.

Equally captivating is the poetic dimension that emerges through movement—a silent narrative, a truth that unfolds with each gesture, each encounter with the ground or another body. In that spontaneous flow, dance becomes a language beyond words, expressing what cannot be conveyed in any other way. I feel a deep need to dance with CI practitioners of all levels, from beginners to professionals, as each encounter is a source of learning and a shared journey into poetry.

MY PAST: LAWYER, BUSINESS ENTREPRENEUR AND ROCKCLIMBER

I graduated from the university in Barcelona in Business Administration and Law, and I’ve worked many years in different sectors as a lawyer, consultant and starting myself different businesses. For 20 years I practiced rockclimbing and bouldering, an amazing period of my live, that fullfiled myself enormously. However, at some point, dance took over my heart and here I am, dancing!

TEACHER, PRODUCER AND CHOREOGRAPHER

I have been teaching Contact Improvisation since 2020, leading intensives and workshops in Spain and France. Since 2015, I have been actively involved in organizing contemporary acrobatic dance intensives, Contact Improvisation festivals, jams and various dance events. I am co-founder of the Festival International de Contact Improvisation EN PROVENCE in France, which has been held annually since 2017.

As a choreographer and dancer, I am actively involved in creating dance pieces that integrate elements of contemporary dance forms like Contact Improvisation, floorwork acrobatics or Butho dance.

DANCER

I began dancing in 2010 with Contact Improvisation, which remains the foundation of my journey as both a dancer and teacher. Contemporary dance and acrobatics have also been and still is key to my growth as a mover. Handstand is also an huge passion of mine.

I've learned from renowned CI teachers, including Nancy Stark Smith, Martin Keogh, Leilani Weiss, Sveta Bird, Itay Yatuv, Leonardo Lambruchini, Ramon Roig, Carmen Alcalde, Lucía Sánchez, Kira Kirsch, Noam Carmeli and many others. Also, my greatest learning comes from my own exploration and the countless dancers I’ve encountered and continue to encounter along the way.
